We hereby invite all EUF and EFDF Member National Federations to participate in EMUC 2025 in Lund, Sweden.

The below form is for National Federations (NFs) to pre-register their national teams for EMUC 2025. Only one form should be submitted per NF to indicate your country’s participation interest.

February 15: Team Fee payment due. Team fee must be paid in order to accept bids.

  • EMUC 2025 will be a five (5) day tournament from Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 20., 2025

    Wednesday, July 16, is the opening ceremony and opening game only.

    The competition for all other teams starts Thursday, July 17.

    The finals are played on Sunday, July 20, with the Medal Ceremonies taking place immediately after each final. The Closing Ceremony will take place at the end of the last final of the Championship, expected to be finished at 18:00.

    Teams are requested to check in before their first game at the tournament information desk at the HQ at Klostergårdens IP.

  • Female-matching players (FMP) / Male-matching players (MMP)

    • Masters: Mixed, Open, Women

    • FMP born in 1995 or before:

    • MMP born in 1992 or before

    • Grand Masters: Mixed, Open, Women

    • FMP born in 1988 or before

    • MMP born in 1985 or before

    • Great Grand Masters: Open

    • FMP born in 1980 or before

    • MMP born in 1977 or before

    The minimum number of teams required to create a separate division is four. If the number of teams doesn’t motivate a four-day schedule, the tournament length can be shortened.

  • The EMUC 2025 opening ceremony will take place in Stadsparken in Lund on Wednesday, July 16, starting at 18:00.

    The ceremony is followed by the parade of flags to the opening game at Klostergården. The game will start at 18:45

    We recommend that all participants be ready for the opening ceremony in Stadsparken at 17:00 on Wednesday, July 16.

  • The captain and SOTG-captain for each team must subscribe to the WhatsApp group to stay updated with tournament information.

    This group will be the primary channel for quick communications and questions/answers throughout the tournament.

    Should weather cause delays, the schedule will be adjusted accordingly to ensure the finals are played as scheduled.

TIMELINE/SCHEDULE:

January 14: Pre-registration deadline.

January 15: Bids are announced.

February 15: Team Fee payment due ( € 750) Team fee must be paid to accept bids.

April 1: Minimum 14 x Player Fee payment due. Players Fee TBA.

May 10: Firm deadline for EMUC hotel reservation and payment.

June 15: Final rosters due. Adding extra names after June 15 increases the Player Fee by €50.

June 30: Final Players Fee/Non-Players-Fee Payment due.

Wednesday, July 16, 10:00: Team accreditation possible at the tournament HQ, Klostergårdens IP.

Wednesday, July 16, 18:00: Opening ceremony, parade of flags and opening game. The opening game starts at 18:45 at Klostergårdens IP.

Thursday, July 17, 9:00: First round of games starts.

Sunday, July 20, 18:30: Closing ceremony, end of tournament.

Venue: Klostergårdens IP

Venue: Klostergårdens IP in the central parts of Lund. Dressing rooms and WC’s on site.

Fields and surface: A total of 6 high quality grass fields and 1 turf field. Only the opening game will be played at the main stadium.

Transport to the venue: One stop (3 minutes) commuter train to Klostergården Station. Or a 10 minute walk through the the beautiful park Stadsparken (where the opening ceremony is held).

Shuttle Bus: There is no EMUC participant shuttle bus.
